Since its inception in 1998, the PFGS has sought to provide a supportive environment for postgraduate students involved in Life Sciences, Ethics and Society. The large online community and regular meetings give postgraduates the opportunity to meet and network, to discuss ideas and to talk through the pitfalls of postgraduate research. Members also have the opportunity to present their research in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. The Forum gratefully acknowledges the support of the ESRC through the Genomics Forum.
